Education:

1968 – graduated from Physical department of Ural state university (now Ural federal university named after B.N. Yeltsin, Ekaterinburg, Russia) with major “Astronomy”.

1975 – defense of a thesis for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences (PhD) on the topic “Photo-television observations of distant space objects” at at the dissertation council of the Pulkovo Observatory. Scientific supervisor – V.S. Matyagin.
