From June 8 to 30, Nazarbayev University hosted the NPAA Research School, a summer school for children covering nuclear physics and engineering, astrophysics and data science, materials science and nanotechnology, and robotics. From June 15 to 18, a group of students majoring in astrophysics and data science visited the Academican Omarov Assy-Turgen Observatory to gain practical skills in observational astronomy.
