From November 11–13, 2025, the 7th Middle East and Africa Regional IAU Meeting (MEARIM7), titled “Advancing Space and Astronomy Sciences for a Sustainable Future,” was held in Amman, Jordan under the auspices of the International Astronomical Union. FAI was represented at the conference by Ch.T. Omarov, M.A. Krugov, and others. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of astronomy and astrophysics was concluded between the Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute and the University of Jordan. The main goal of the Memorandum is to formalize collaboration between the organizations for conducting joint research, sharing data, and providing access to observational and computational resources. The agreement also envisages organizing joint conferences, workshops, and staff internships essential for international scientific cooperation.
