2024 жылы ФАФИ есептеу кластері тағы да ірі жаңартудан өтті. Гранттық және бағдарламалық-нысаналы қаржыландыру аясында екі-слотты орындаудағы 10 NVIDIA RTX 4090 графикалық картасы сатып алынды, бұл оларды бір серверге орнатып, 826 терафлопс өнімділікке қол жеткізуге мүмкіндік берді.

Қазақстан Республикасының мемлекеттік мерекесі қарсаңында ғылымды дамытуға қосқан елеулі үлесі үшін В.Г. Фесенков атындағы Астрофизика институтының директоры Омаров Шыңғыс Төкенұлы «Құрмет» орденімен марапатталды.

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Fesenokov Astrophysical Institute and the French company ArianeGroup for the study of near and deep space objects.

The FAI computing cluster received another significant update as part of grant and program-targeted funding. The cluster was supplemented with a new computing server, data storage systems and additional battery modules.
