FAI director appointed Vice President of the Silk Road Alliance

The Silk Road Alliance for Astronomical Research and Education, represented by Prof. Zhongmu Li of the Dali University (China) and Prof. Rainer Spurzem of the Heidelberg University (Germany), has appointed FAI director Chingis Omarov to the position of Vice President of the Alliance.

As the appointment letter states:
“This appointment recognizes your distinguished expertise and dedication to advancing astronomy research, education, and international collaboration across the Silk Road region and beyond. We deeply value your commitment to this initiative and look forward to your impactful contributions.”
